Appointments

​

To make an appointment by phone, please call (301) 262 - 8188 during our regular office hours. We make every effort to give each patient an appointment with his or her primary care doctor, however if that doctor is not available one of their associates will be available 24 hours a day. 

​

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early for your appointment or physical so you may have time to fill out the necessary forms. Please bring all insurance cards and referral forms, and please be prepared to make the co-payment required by your insurance company.

​

If you require any special assistance, please let the scheduling staff know before you come in so we can make the necessary accommodations for your needs.

​

Refill and Referral requests

​

We accept prescription refill requests and referral requests Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 4:00pm and Friday from 8:30am to 2:30pm. 

​

For refills please have your pharmacy call with the request. Please allow at least 72 hours for requests to be completed. Written prescriptions may take two to three days. Requests can be made on our patient portal, please see our portal page for additional details.

For referral request, please allow 72 hours for referrals to be completed. Please be aware that special requests may take more time.

​

Insurance

​

We participate with many insurance plans, including Medicare, Blue Shield, and most other commercial insurance companies. Our billing manager will be happy to assist you with your insurance questions. Co-payments are due at the time of service. If any additional money is owed after insurance reimbursement, you will be sent a statement.

​

For patients who have no insurance we offer a 20% discount for fees paid at the time of your visit. If there is any type of financial problem and you are unable to pay in full, payment arrangements may be made. We do not want to let financial concerns interfere with providing you with the best possible medical care.

​

If you are a Managed Care or HMO patient, and plan to see our specialist, please check with our office to verify your insurance company’s requirements, prior to your visit.

Emergency

​

If you have a medical emergency, please call 911.

​

If you have an urgent problem after hours, please call 301-262-8188 to reach our answering service. One of our health care providers is always on duty and will reach out to you as soon as possible. If your problem is a true medical emergency, please seek immediate care at your closest medical facility and ask the emergency room staff to contact our office.
